Roseburg Police jailed a woman for an alleged harassment incident early Sunday.

An RPD report said at 1:30 a.m. officers responded to apartments in the 2500 block of Northeast Stephens Street after a victim said he had been attacked by the 49-year-old in an incident that was unprovoked. Officers contacted the victim outside the apartment complex, and observed he had numerous bloody scratches on his face and neck, which he claimed were from the woman hitting and scratching him.

Officers then contacted the woman who admitted to attacking the man because he had tried to go inside her bedroom. She was taken into custody and charged with harassment. Bail was set at $2,500. The woman was cited and released for a warrant.
