A Myrtle Creek man was jailed for a DUII accident on Wednesday night.
A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 11:45 p.m. the 32-year-old crashed his pickup in the 300 block of East First Street in Riddle. Signs of impairment were observed. The man consented to standard field sobriety tests, which he reportedly performed poorly. The driver was transported to the Myrtle Creek Police Department where he allegedly refused a breath test. He was transported to corrections and later taken to CHI Mercy Medical Center for a warrant blood draw.
The man was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving and third-degree criminal mischief. He was detained without bail.
