SNAP REPLACEMENT BENEFITS EXTENSION DUE TO MARCH FLOODS

Douglas County residents who purchased food with Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits which was lost due to the March 16th flood event may have extra time to request replacement food benefits.

Information from the Oregon Department of Human Services said the loss could also be from mudslides and power outages. This applies to residents in Coos, Curry, Jackson, Josephine and several other counties, as well. Impacted residents now have until April 15th to request replacement benefits.
