Roseburg Police cited a man for prohibited camping late Monday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 5:05 p.m. the 22-year-old was contacted in a tent near the creek at the west end of the tee ball field at Gaddis Park in the 800 block of Northwest Highland Street.

The man was issued a citation because his camp was outside of the time, place and manner portion of the city’s camping ordinance. He was released after the citation was issued.
