Roseburg Police cited two people for drinking in public, in separate incidents on Saturday.

An RPD report said at 4:15 p.m. the 55-year-old woman was observed with an open bottle of whiskey in the 900 block of Northeast Rowe Street. She poured the whiskey out and was issued a citation.

At approximately 6:15 p.m. a 51-year-old man was observed by an officer with an open beer. He poured it out and was issued a citation as well.
