Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant and a past theft on Friday night.

An RPD report said at 8:45 p.m. the 37-year-old was contacted regarding the prior incident in the 200 block of Northeast Trust Street. The man was found to have a warrant for his arrest. The warrant was confirmed through records and he was taken into custody without incident. The man admitted to the theft as well.

He was charged with second-degree theft in addition to the warrant. Bail was set at $6,250.
