Three people were taken to the hospital after a single vehicle accident on Friday night.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 6:10 p.m. units responded to the wreck in the 16000 block of Dixonville Road in the Dixonville area.

A 29-year-old driver said she was heading northbound with two juveniles in the back, in car seats. The woman was adjusting the sunroof when she failed to negotiate the roadway. The vehicle went into a ditch for approximately 70 yards, hit a culvert and ultimately ended up back on the roadway. All the airbags were deployed.

Everyone in the vehicle was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center. The vehicle was towed away.
