Roseburg Police jailed a man for a reported theft incident on Wednesday.

An RPD report said the 50-year-old man had allegedly stolen a beer earlier in the day from a store in the 500 block of Northeast Winchester Street. An officer located the suspect at approximately 3:00 p.m. He was taken into custody without incident.

Bail was set at $15,000.
