A Canyonville woman was jailed Sunday in connection with alleged computer crimes.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said a victim claimed the 56-year-old had stolen a victim’s debit card while he was in the hospital. The person reporting has power of attorney over the victim. That person provided a deputy with bank statements containing numerous charges.

The victim said he confronted the suspect about the charges. He claimed she originally told him she would pay him back. He confronted her on Sunday and at that time she said she was not going to repay him the money. The woman was contacted and taken into custody for telephonic harassment. She was detained without bail and was released on Monday.
