A Glide man was jailed following an alleged prior harassment incident on Thursday.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said on March 25th, 61-year-old David Fairchild was allegedly out of control yelling that he was going to kill a neighbor in the 9000 block of Little River Road near Glide. A second neighbor came down to assist the victim. Fairchild reportedly got in that person’s face, knocked his hat off, yelling for him to kill him. Fairchild was trespassing on the first neighbor’s property at the time of the incident.

Deputies contacted the suspect Thursday at 2:00 p.m. and took him into custody. Fairchild was charged with second-degree counts of disorderly conduct and trespass and with harassment. He was detained without bail.
