Roseburg Police jailed two people after overnight contact early Thursday.

An RPD report said at 12:45 a.m. officers were conducting a security check in the 2100 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. They contacted a 40-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man inside the business. Officers had prior knowledge that both had warrants for their arrest. Both were detained when they were contacted.

The man was allegedly found to be in possession of about a gram of fentanyl. He was detained for the warrants and cited for the drug charge. The woman was jailed for the warrant and detained on $1,250 bail. Both were released later in the morning.
