It is most likely that Roseburg set a new record high temperature for the date on Tuesday, but there is no official record due to broken equipment at the monitoring site at the Roseburg Regional Airport.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that nearby readings showed highs of 81 and 83 degrees. That would easily eclipse the previous record for March 25th, which was 73 degrees, set in 2016.

Showers and possible thunderstorms are forecast for Roseburg Wednesday with a chance of rain in the forecast every day through early next week.
