ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR ALLEGED DRUGS/SUSPENDED LICENSE

Roseburg Police jailed a man following a traffic stop on Monday night.

An RPD report said at 8:00 p.m. an officer stopped the 31-year-old from Beaverton for traffic violations in the 1200 block of Northeast Stephens Street.  The officer learned the man’s license was suspended at the misdemeanor level. He was detained and was reportedly found to be in possession of over 20 grams of suspected methamphetamine.

He was taken into custody and charged with a felony count of unlawful possession of meth and for driving while suspended. The man was detained without bail.
