Roseburg Police cited a man Friday for an alleged criminal mischief incident.

An RPD report said at 3:00 p.m. officers contacted the 67-year-old regarding an ongoing investigation. The man admitted to pouring coals on a fence line of a residence in the 200 block of Southeast Mosher Avenue, which subsequently burned and damaged the fence.

He was cited for second-degree criminal mischief and reckless burning before being released.
