Roseburg enjoyed a sunny Sunday afternoon but didn’t set a record high for the date.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that the mercury reached 69 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport. The record high for March 23rd was 76 degrees, set in 1940.

Forecasters said the region will see two more days of sunny conditions with highs in the mid 70’s on Monday and pushing to near 80 degrees on Tuesday. About a week and a half of cooler and rainy conditions will follow starting on Wednesday.
