Roseburg Police cited a man for prohibited camping on Thursday night.

An RPD report said at 11:00 p.m. officers located a camp near the Rowe Street Bridge in the 900 block of Northeast Rowe Street, which was occupied by a 62-year-old man.

The camp had a tent, several bikes and other personal belongings and was in violation of the place and manner portion of the camping ordinance. Officers were not able to clean the camp at the time, so the man was cited and released on scene.
