A bus passenger was taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle accident on Wednesday morning.

A Roseburg Police report said at 9:00 a.m. a woman was traveling south on Southeast Spruce Street across Southeast Oak Avenue but believed it to be a four-way stop. The driver pulled in front of a U-Trans bus, which was going east on Oak Avenue, causing a T-bone collision.

A passenger on the bus, a 51-year-old woman, flew forward into the panel behind the driver. She was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center for shoulder, neck and head pain. An information exchange was completed and the driver who caused the accident was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.
