Roseburg Police jailed a fugitive for warrants and drug charges early Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 12:20 a.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for an expired registration in the 2000 block of Northeast Kerr Street. The driver, 45-year-old Kirk Gearhart, had two felony warrants for his arrest and was taken into custody.

Gearhart admitted to being in possession of methamphetamine and a consent search reportedly yielded 9.76 grams. He was charged with unlawful delivery and possession of meth, for a parole violation and warrants. Gearhart was detained on $107,500 bail. His license was suspended and his car was impounded.
