Roseburg Police cited three people for prohibited outdoor burning early Wednesday morning.

An RPD report said at 2:40 a.m. the group, ranging in age from 34 to 42, were contacted because they were sitting next to a campfire under the Rowe Street Bridge in the 900 block of Northeast Rowe Street. The fire was in the middle of the bike path. All were released after their citations were issued.
