WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY ABOVE 1,500 FEET THROUGH EARLY MONDAY

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for central Douglas County above 1,500 feet from 11:00 p.m. Sunday through 8:00 a.m. Monday.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said snow is expected, with total snow accumulations up to 3 inches above 1,500 feet. Model data suggests there is a 50 percent chance of around 1 to 2 inches of additional on the valley floors Sunday night.

The Advisory area includes Roseburg, Sutherlin, Umpqua, Green, and Toketee Falls. It applies to Camas Mountain on Highway 42.

Forecasters said drivers should plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute.
