THUNDERING WATER PIVOTS LOCATION FOR 2ND ANUAL SHAMROCK QUEST

With rain and cold weather in the forecast, the 2nd annual Shamrock Quest will move indoors on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. through 3:00 p.m. – through partnership support from the Boys & Girls of the Umpqua Valley.

Attendees are encouraged to dress in their favorite shade of green and chase a charming leprechaun for Thundering Water’s Shamrock Quest. The journey will take people on a one-of-a-kind path, featuring over 15 interactive mini quests hosted by a variety of Douglas County organizations. The family-friendly event aims to connect local residents of all ages and abilities for a fun-filled adventure packed afternoon.

This year’s event will include the Adventure Quest, Inflatable Obstacle Course and Climbing Wall, Dance Party, Food Trucks and nutrition demonstrations, prizes, a photo booth, face painting and much more.

This community building event aims to serve, connect and inspire Douglas County by spreading a message that health and wellness can be fun!  Participants will get moving together, while being exposed to local resources and opportunities that make health and nutrition fun, easy and achievable.
