FISH RESTORATION AND ENHANCEMENT BOARD TO MEET IN ROSEBURG

March 13, 2025 3:40 a.m.

The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife’s Fish Restoration and Enhancement Board will meet in Roseburg on Thursday March 20th from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The meeting will be held at the Holiday Inn Express on West Harvard Avenue.

Topics to be covered during the meeting include program information and updates, project reviews and educational presentations.

Created by the Oregon Legislature in 1989, the Fish Restoration and Enhancement Program is funded by a surcharge on sport and commercial fishing licenses and commercial poundage fees. The program’s seven-member citizen board reviews fish restoration and enhancement project proposals and makes funding recommendations to the Oregon Fish and Wildlife Commission.

The meeting can also be viewed via Teams and members of the public can attend in person or virtually. See the agenda for log information: https://www.dfw.state.or.us/fish/RE/docs/board/2025/Cycle%2025-1%20RE%20Meeting%20Agenda_Final.pdf
