A Glendale woman was jailed for an alleged trespass incident Monday night.
A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 8:40 p.m. a 68-year-old woman allegedly trespassed on a victim’s property in the 300 block of Outback Lane in the Glendale area. The suspect then reportedly attempted to gain access to the victim’s garage. She was ordered off the property by another resident who told her that she was trespassing.
The residents walked the suspect out to the gate of the property and locked it behind her so she would be unable to return. The suspect returned to the property about thirty minutes later and was escorted off again a second time. The suspect then allegedly attempted to climb the fence to get back on the property.
A deputy contacted the woman and told her that she needed to leave, or she would go to jail. The woman chose to go to jail. She was charged with second-degree criminal trespass. Bail was set at $1,250.
