A Glide man was jailed on multiple methamphetamine charges on Friday.
A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 2:00 p.m., 65-year-old Duane Willamson was stopped for a traffic violation near the intersection of Highway 138E and Abbott Street in Glide. Williamson was detained for failure to carry and present.
He reportedly removed 41 grams of meth from his pants pocket. K9 Trapper was deployed and gave a final alert on Williamson’s vehicle. More evidence was found in this sedan. He was charged with unlawful manufacture and possession of meth, and unlawful distribution of meth within 1,000 feet of a school. Williamson was detained without bail.
