TRANSIENT JAILED FOR SECOND-DEGREE CRIMINAL TRESPASS

A transient was jailed on a charge of second-degree criminal trespass on Thursday afternoon.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 1:25 p.m. the man was hanging out in front of a store in the 4700 block of Northeast Stephens Street. He had been asked to leave several times but allegedly ignored the request of the store’s manager.

He reportedly continued to ignore the deputy and was placed under arrest without incident. Bail was set at $1,250.
