Roseburg Police cited two people for trespassing and one for littering on Thursday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 1:50 p.m. officers contacted two women, ages 41 and 42 and a 56-year-old man at their camps near the Rowe Street bridge in the 900 block of Northeast Rowe Street.

The women’s camps were set up in a prohibited zone under the time, place and manner ordinance. This was the 41-year-old’s first camping offense, and the third one for the second woman.  The older woman was cited for a criminal count of prohibited camping while the younger woman was cited for a violation count.

The man was contacted nearby and reportedly had a massive amount of trash and rubbish strewn on the ground. He was cited for offensive littering.

All three were released after their citations were issued
