A Roseburg man was cited following a single vehicle accident on Thursday afternoon.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said shortly before 5:00 p.m. a pickup was traveling east on Happy Valley Road near Christensen Lane and Bailey Drive in Green. The vehicle left the roadway when the 60-year-old driver reportedly reached down to retrieve a phone that fell on the floorboard. The wreck caused damage to the street sign at Christensen, a nearby mailbox cluster and a small section of fence on Bailey Drive. The driver was not injured.
