Roseburg Police jailed a man for violation of a no contact order on Tuesday morning.

An RPD report said at 9:15 a.m. officers saw the 35-year-old and another person walking together on the sidewalk near the intersection of Northeast Garden Valley Boulevard and Northeast Walnut Street. Officers knew the man was not allowed to have contact with the second person.

He was taken into custody. Bail was set at $5,000.
