Roseburg Police cited a man for offensive littering early on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at approximately 2:05 a.m. officers contacted the 56-year-old in the 900 block of Southeast Rowe Avenue regarding his pile of rubbish which detracted from the cleanliness of the bike path.

He was released after being cited and was instructed to clean up his mess.
