Con-Vey has announced the promotion of Travis Pritchett to operations manager, effective February 1st.
A company release said Pritchett has been a key member of the Con-Vey team since 2012, first joining as production manager before being promoted to plant manager in 2014. This newly created role reflects the company’s continued growth and the increasing scope of its operations.
As operations manager, Pritchett will oversee all aspects of Con-Vey’s manufacturing processes, including fabrication, assembly, paint, machine shop, human resources, and training. The release said Pritchett’s leadership will play a vital role in expanding Con-Vey’s production capabilities, including the launch of a second facility.
Con-Vey CEO and President Dave Larecy said, “Travis has been an outstanding leader for Con-Vey LLC and continues to grow and challenge himself and his team”. Larecy said, “As we expand our facilities and our workforce, his expertise and dedication will be critical in positioning us for future success”.
The release said that beyond his contributions to Con-Vey’s manufacturing operations, Pritchett is a strong advocate for skilled trades and workforce development in Douglas County. He has been instrumental in engaging students, teachers, and community members to promote careers in manufacturing. Pritchett has served on the Douglas, Coos and Curry County Apprenticeship Board, leads school tours of Convey’s facilities, and mentors students through shop class projects and career readiness programs, helping to develop the next generation of skilled workers.
