Sutherlin Police jailed three men following an alleged burglary on Thursday.

An SPD report said shortly after 3:00 p.m. the men were contacted with a vehicle full of reportedly stolen property. Two of the men admitted to being at a location in the 600 block of South State Street with the third man and taking the items.

Dylon Short and David Harger, both age 40, were charged with first-degree theft, second-degree burglary and conspiracy to commit a class C felony. They were detained without bail. The third man, a 45-year-old, was charged with first-degree theft and second-degree burglary. He was detained without bail and was released later on Thursday

The vehicle was impounded, and the stolen property was recovered.
