Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged trespass incident on Wednesday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 2:15 p.m. officers responded after said that someone was trespassing at a home in the 1200 block of Northeast Lincoln Street. 39-year-old Bruce Shepherd was eventually located hiding in the attic of the house. The building had previously been deemed unfit for use by the City of Roseburg.

Shepherd was charged with first-degree criminal trespass and held for several warrants that were out for his arrest. Bail was set at $28,500.
