Roseburg Police cited two people for prohibited camping on Wednesday morning.

An RPD report said at 5:40 am. officers contacted a 65-year-old woman at her camp in Deer Creek Park in the 200 block of Southeast Pine Street. It was in violation of the place portion of the city ordinance.

At 6:10 a.m. a 48-year-old man was contacted in the same area due to his camp being in violation of the manner portion of the city ordinance.

Both people were released after being cited.
