A Roseburg woman was jailed for providing false information to a peace officer and for a warrant on Monday morning.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said just after 8:30 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to a business in the 13000 block of West Glendale Avenue in Glendale after a caller said a man was acting disorderly in the parking lot.

The deputy found the man in the driver seat and a female sitting in the backseat of the vehicle. The female provided a false name and date of birth. The deputy recognized her as a 32-year-old who he knew had a warrant. The woman later admitted to using a fictitious name and said she was scared and did not want to go to jail.

The woman was taken into custody and transported to corrections. She was detained on $25,000 bail.
