Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged harassment incident on Friday.

An RPD report said officers contacted 19-year-old Weston Hansen regarding a disturbance that allegedly occurred near the 900 block of West Harvard Avenue. Officers learned that Hansen reportedly punched a victim and prevented her from calling 911 by taking her phone. He also allegedly kicked and punched the door to the victim’s vehicle, causing damage.

Hansen was charged with harassment, second-degree criminal mischief and interfering with making a police report. He was detained on $15,000 bail.
