ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR WARRANT, DRUG CHARGE

Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant and a drug charge early Friday.

An RPD report said at about 1:50 a.m. officers contacted the 40-year-old while conducting a security check at a business in the 2200 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. The man was found to have a felony warrant for his arrest for a parole violation.

The warrant was confirmed, and the suspect was taken into custody. During a search of his person, the man was allegedly found to be in possession of approximately 3 grams of methamphetamine. He was charged with parole violation and unlawful possession of meth. The man was detained without bail.
