Roseburg Police jailed a man for a reported disorderly conduct incident Friday morning.
An RPD report said shortly before 6:30 a.m. officers responded to the 76 Station in the 300 block of West Harvard Avenue after a caller said a man was acting disorderly. The suspect, later identified as 24-year-old Aaron Jones, reportedly knocked over all the garbage cans at the business and was acting suspicious.
Upon arrival, officers contacted Jones, who was now inside the business. He allegedly not only knocked over all the garbage cans onto the ground but also discharged the station’s fire extinguisher all over the ground, then broke it. Once inside the business, Jones reportedly stole an energy drink and drank it. He was taken into custody without incident.
Jones was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct, third-degree theft, and second and third-degree counts of criminal mischief. He was detained on $12,500 bail.
