Roseburg Police dealt with a two-vehicle crash during the afternoon commute on Thursday.

An RPD report said at 3:50 p.m. the first vehicle was turning left onto Northwest Harvey Avenue from Northwest Stewart Parkway while the second vehicle was traveling southbound on Stewart Parkway. The first driver failed to obey a traffic control device when his light was flashing yellow and he turned into oncoming traffic, resulting in a collision.

The driver who caused the accident was cited and released. Both vehicles were operable and were driven from the scene.
