A Roseburg area woman was jailed for an alleged assault incident on Thursday night.
A Douglas County Sherriff’s Office report said at 10:00 p.m. the 40-year-old came home allegedly extremely intoxicated and started tearing up the house in the 4000 block of Hanna Street in Green. She reportedly began throwing things at a victim. At one point, she allegedly threw a large wooden cutting board type object at the victim’s head, striking him in the shoulder. The object also reportedly hit a minor child in the face. ‘
Both victims sustained minor injuries. Photographs were taken by a deputy. The woman was charged with two counts of recklessly endangering another person, and two counts of 4th degree assault. She was detained without bail.
