Roseburg Police jailed a man for reported criminal mischief on Wednesday evening.

An RPD report said at 8:20 p.m. officers responded to the area of the former Shari’s Restaurant in the 3000 block of Northwest Aviation Drive. Employees at the site said they witnessed the 29-year-old throw a rock at a window at the business, shattering one of the panes.

The suspect was intoxicated and told the officer that he was on probation. The man was charged with second-degree criminal mischief and for a probation violation. Bail was set at $6,250.
