Roseburg Police charged a man Wednesday for an alleged prior hit and run incident.

An RPD report said on February 5th, the 24-year-old man’s vehicle reportedly struck a victim’s vehicle in the parking lot of a business in the 2100 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. The man was already in jail on another case when he was contacted. He stated that he was the only one who ever drives the vehicle and was in the area of the business, but didn’t remember hitting the other vehicle due to his level of intoxication at the time.

A charge of failure to perform the duties of a driver-property damage was added. The man was detained on $11,250 bail.
