Roseburg Police jailed a man for a criminal count of prohibited camping early Wednesday morning.

An RPD report said at 2:20 a.m. officers contacted the 39-year-old at his camp at Deer Creek Park, in the 200 block of Northeast Pine Street. His camp was in violation of the place and manner portion of the city ordinance. He had two previous convictions for camping and was taken int custody without incident.

Bail was set at $5,000.
