Roseburg Police cited a woman for prohibited outdoor burning early Wednesday morning.

An RPD report said at 2:30 a.m. the 43-year-old woman was contacted because she was sitting next to a warming fire at Deer Creek Park in the 200 block of Southeast Pine Street.

She admitted to starting the fire and was released after the citation was issued. The fire was then put out.
