Roseburg Police cited two people on the charge of prohibited outdoor burning early Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 12:30 a.m. the 30-year-old-man and 32-year-old-woman were contacted at Gaddis Park in the 800 block of Northwest Highland Street because they were standing next to a warming fire.

The pair was released after the citation was issued and the fire was extinguished.
