Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged DUII incident on Thursday morning.

An RPD report said at 9:30 a.m. officers contacted the 54-year-old in the 1400 block of Northeast Stephens Street after a caller said the man was driving intoxicated. He allegedly performed poorly on standard field sobriety tests and showed signs of impairment.

The man was taken into custody without issue and his license was found to be suspended on the misdemeanor level. He was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants, and a misdemeanor count of driving with suspended. The man was cited for driving uninsured and failure of a previous violator to file.

Bail was set at $16,250. His vehicle was towed from the scene.
