A Winter Storm Warning is in effect through 10:00 a.m. Thursday for central Douglas County.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said additional snow accumulations between 3 and 5 inches are expected.

The Warning area includes higher elevations in southern Douglas County including the Sexton Summit.

Forecasters said travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes.
