Roseburg Police jailed a woman for prohibited camping near the Stewart Park Band Shell on Tuesday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 1:20 p.m. an officer contacted the 27-year-old at her camp which was ten feet from the edge of the South Umpqua River. The camp was set up in an area where camping is prohibited at all times.

The woman had three prior convictions for prohibited camping. She was detained on $5,000 bail.
