Roseburg Police jailed a man for a restraining order violation on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 7:40 p.m. officers responded to a residence in the 700 block of Southeast Spruce Street. A family member of a protected person said that person was living with a man who had an active restraining order against him.

Officers contacted the pair at the residence. The man was taken into custody and transported to corrections without incident. He was detained without bail.
