Roseburg Police cited a man for prohibited camping Wednesday morning.

An RPD report said just after 9:20 am. the 37-year-old had his tent set up in the middle of the nature area at the Stewart Park duck pond. The man stated he did not define it as camping, even though he had his bedding set up inside the tent.

The report said the entire duck pond area is a nature reserve, so camping is not allowed at any time.  The man was cited and released on the scene.
