A Roseburg man was jailed following a store incident in Green on Tuesday.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said shortly after 12:00 p.m. 45-year-old Barr Jones allegedly got upset at an employee at Dollar General on Tannhauser Avenue in Green. Jones reportedly slammed a 6 pack of beer on the checkout counter, damaging the cans. He then allegedly got into an employee’s face and pressed his chest against the employee’s.

The incident was recorded on security cameras, which a deputy reviewed. Jones was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct, harassment and third-degree criminal mischief. He was detained without bail.
